The History of the Church and Parish in Želina until 1784

This bachelor thesis focuses on the history of the church of Saint Lawrence in Želina. The aim of the whole thesis is to find out a line of names of parsons or local chaplains. The medieval period is depicted mostly on the basis of edited sources and literature. The main focus of this thesis is concentrated on the early modern era of the church, which is based on the study of archive records of religious and secular origin. For this period the attendance is also devoted to construction activities, changes of equipment of the church and to the religious life of the parish. The conclusion concentrates on other religious monuments of the parish
