Smoking prevention at schools.

The Bachelor Work entitled Prevention of Smoking at Schools describes the actual situation of smoking prevalence concerning the pupils of 9th grade of given schools within the region of Prague 7 in the school year 2014/2015. It also describes methods and forms of smoking prevention used at researched primary schools. The theoretical part states epidemiologic data concerning smoking and children's risk of smoking. There are described the risk behaviour, risk and protective factors, risk behaviour prevention, primary prevention coordination and realization at schools. The results presented in the practical part display differences in 9th grade pupils smoking prevalence between particular schools within the region of Prague 7. The conclusion of the work emphasizes the need of smoking prevention realization within all areas of life and proposes the primary prevention possibilities.
