Domestic violence from the perspective of social workers

Domestic violence is a frequently mentioned concept that used to be ignored by the public for many years. More attention is paid to the issue nowadays; therefore, my thesis deals with this issue, the methodology used by domestic violence specialists and our legislation (which is finally beginning to address the problem of domestic violence and to amend the currently applicable laws). The objective of the thesis is to define domestic violence and its elements and to help the victims and show them where to find help. Finally, the thesis aims to point out incorrect and imperfect solutions to cases of domestic violence and in particular the failure to deal with the issue in a comprehensive manner at the government level
