Leisure time activities during summer holiday

The thesis deals with summer camps as an important sort of leisure time activity done by children during their summer holidays and it concentrates on developing of a programme for summer camps. The aim is to give recommendations and tips for developing a programme to other groups who are concerned with preparing summer camp activities. These recommendations and tips are based on the proposal of the author`s wholecamp game, which was verified in practice, and on the results of the questionnaire. The theoretical part concentrates on leisure time, leisure time education, summer camp organization and mainly on games. The practical part includes the concept of the verified wholecamp game and the questionnaire survey, which finds out if camp leaders manage to estimate which games are preferred by children and what the children`s evaluation of a camp is going to be
