England in the eyes of Czech noblemen at the turn of the 16th and the 17th century

This bachelor thesis deals with the ways of Czech noblemen in England at the turn of the 16th and the 17th centuries. The thesis contains a general summary of traveling during the early modern period. It is based on analysis of the personal sources, which are a travel diaries. In the central part of thesis we deal with more specific trip issues, as were arrivals and departures to the country and from the country, an English company and the royal court, including his ceremonies, celebrations and pastimes, dress, dining or communication, visit secular and church buildings, educational and other institutions.
