Unemployment of university graduates in Slovakia in 2001-2014

This bachelor thesis deals with the unemployment of university graduates in Slovakia in years 2001 - 2014, focusing on the analysis of unemployment of a specific population within regions and within industry. The aim of this work is to analyze unemployment in the individual Slovak regions and industries, based on data obtained from the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic and the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic. The thesis focuses on presenting the picture of unemployment of the most important features of this group and identify main causes that cause unemployment. The conclusion includes expected future developments and recommendations that could improve the situation of graduates in the labor market in the Slovak Republic
