The party-based Euroscepticism : comparative study of the Czech ODS and British Conservative Party

This thesis is about a comparative analysis of the Czech Civic Democratic Party and British Conservative party in terms of the euroscepticism. The student will be dealing with the time period from 2008 to the present. In the first part of the thesis the definition of euroscepticism and its classification will be presented with special focus on Taggart's theory. In the second part, the theory will be applied to the political parties. the aim of the work is to define the type of euroscepticism, compare its manifestation and determine whether in the selected time period the euroscepticism changed and if so, what caused this change (or the stability) of the advocated position
