Individual Child Welfare Plan in the Work of a Social Worker for Children and Teenagers

The main focus of this thesis is the amendment of bill. 359/1999 Sb. which pertains to social welfare of children, in particula the practice of social workers and their focur toward each child's individual plan within the welfere scheme. The theoretical section of this work explores the importance of social welfare of childern in relation to the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Furthermore, it focuses on the amendment of the aforementioned bill and explores the individual child welfare plan. Finaly, it introduces the child welfare social worker and his role within the juvenile delinquent sector. The practical section of the thesis examines a number of examples of the child and family assassement process, which is carried out according to the child assessment form completed by social workers representing the Department of Social Welfare of Children in the Czech Republic.
