Media coverage of the bomb attack at Boston Marathon in April 2013

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe the media coverage of the bomb attack at Boston Marathon in April 2013 and to compare reporting about the victims with focus on pictures in five czech daily newspapers. I monitor the period from April 16 to April 23 and I compare the media coverage and published pictures. I focus on the ethical aspects of publication of drastic pictures and I describe the decision-making process in newsrooms
