Significant European national digital libraries

This bachleor thesis focuses on two main objectives. First objective is to map and describe selected national digital libraries in Europe. Second objetive is to describe its cooperation with Europeana portal. Definitions of basic terms are mentioned in the first chapter. Theoretical part of this thesis comprises of description of qualitative and quantitative characteristics of selected NDL according to mentioned model. This model concentrates on user accessibility, description of provided materials and description of web sites. Pactical part consists of comparison of the research outcomes and description of the cooperation with Europeana portal on general and specific level
