The Development of the Water Management in Bohemia between 1870 and 1928

The intention of this work is to construct and present general ambit of running of water management and water management policy between years 1870-1928, specifically in the Czech territory (Czech country). By researching this problem I am going to present the field of Water Management at that time like a new, progressive and ground-breaking aspect of agricultural policy of Austria-Hungary and its countries, which was understood as a tool for modernization with far-reaching effect on agricultural policy. This approach also started the new era of agricultural use of water. In the second part of this work I want to present on the example of Rakovník stream the development of using the water in the water management, which preceded 1870 and on this same example I am going to focus on practical results of the new water management policy which were presented in the first part of the work, in years 1870-1928.
