The aim of my thesis is analyse the causes behind the electoral success of two radical right- wing populist parties, The Danish People's party and the Sweden democrats. The Danish people's party established itself like parliamentary only three years after it's setting up in 1998, but the Sweden Democrats gained parliamentary representation after 22 years of it's existence. The thesis analyses the political opportunities, party's program and politization of the new theme in society and the role on the leadership
