Church of Virgin Mary's Assumption in Zlonice

This bachelor thesis on The Church of the Assumption in Zlonice contains a short history and development of the Zlonice village as well as the history of long-standing owners of the manor, the Kinsky family line. It is also dealing with the baroque church, which was most likely built according to a project by František Maxmilián Kaňka. Description of the church architecture with rich sculptural decoration by Josef Klein is also included. The problem of the autorship of the building is outlined as well. There is also a part dealing with recent history particulary with the neo-baroque construction changes by Friedrich Ohmann and Josef Fanta from the turn of the 19th and 20th century. These changes were crowned with arch field paintings by Adolf Liebscher. At the end of the bachelor thesis there is an anthology of restoration work performed in the 1990s
