This bachelor thesis concerns people who went through out-of-body experiences. It examines them in the perspective of social construction of reality. It concerns symbolic language which these people use to describe realities of finite provinces of meanings which they experience in their out-of-body experience. This thesis is mainly based on the book from two sociologists Peter Berger and Thomas Luckmann Social construction of reality. The theoretical part is also based on books about mysticism, lucid dreaming, near-death experiences, psychedelic substances and shamanism.
