The Father-Son Relationship After the Divorce of the Parents

My bachelor paper The Father-Son Relationship After the Divorce of the Parents deals with the topic of the relationship between a father and a son after the divorce of the parents. The theoretical part is devoted to the topic of a family and its functions, as well as to a description of its changes throughouthistory. Statistical data regarding the number of divorces during the 20th and 21st centuries are also provided. Later the paper deals with the figure of the father and the role he plays in a family. Attention is given to the father-son relationship where mutual interactions occur, and both individuals are formed. In the next chapter I look at divorces, their types and legal aspects. Some after-divorce forms of custody are listed, explained and compared, and the greatest dangers resulting from inability of parents to resolve the situation are stated. A significant problem of this age seems to be the Parental alienation syndrome, which may occur in some forms of the post-divorce settlements. In the last theoretical chapter, attention is paid to fathers who find themselves in all sorts of divorce or post-divorce settlements.
