Alena Homolková Oponent: Title of bachelor thesis: The impact of physiotherapy on bodily parameters and load tolerance in obese patients Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with the impact of physiotherapy on bodily parameters and load tolerance in obese patients. It also concerns with the clinical application of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) in obese patients with the aid of the Brief Core Set for obesity. This work is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part contains basic information about obesity, definition, etiology, diagnosis, medical complications associated with obesity and its treatment. Furthermore, it presents the basic characteristics and description of the Brief ICF Core Set for obesity. Practical part gives an overview of the methodology, the methods used in the examination and treatment. It also includes two case reports of selected patients. These reports consist of entrance and final examination, which contains the Brief ICF Core Set for obesity.
