Prevention of development of specific learning disabilities

Lenka Felcmanová ABSTRACT: The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of prevention development of learning disabilities. The theoretical part introduces the reader to the learning disabilities and their classification, preschool education and evolution of preschool age child. Further it looks into forms of prevention and specific tests used for early diagnosis of learning disabilities. The practical part deals with the possibilities of prevention in preschools and compares if they are different in the region of Prague and region Pardubice. Realized survey finds out incorporation of issue in the School curriculum, teachers training, cooperation with advisory work and methods of working with risky children. The results of the survey show which areas have different access to learning disabilities in both regions and which are similar.
