Selected learning disabilities from the linguistic point of view

At the beginning of the bachelor thesis the various learning disorders will be defined in context of cognitive and psycholinguistic researches focusing mainly on children dyslexia and dysgraphia. The causes of these disorders and the classification of their types will be characterized based on the scholarly literature used as a source in the thesis. Another major section deals with the current diagnostic and therapeutic approaches towards the dyslexia and dysgraphia including the possible remedies and the evaluation of the available materials and tools. Finally, the two types of fundamental questions regarding the linguistic approach towards learning disorders will be described; the questions already having a solution and those remaining open to discussion. At the end the findings from the theoretical part will be concluded and linked with the following research
