The theoretical part provides the basic information about the development of the dependence on alcohol, a prevention and treatment of alcoholism. I also deal with the concequence of the alcohol consumption on health and life of patients with the alcohol dependence, the communication with these patients and problems of nursing. The empiric part analyses the interrogatory survey, that investigates experience of nurses with the treatment of patients with the alcohol dependence. The aim of my work was to find out, how the date of the alcoholic abuse influences the approach of nurses, their communication and the provided nursing
