The Level of Child Injury Prevention

The aim of my thesis titled "Level of child injury prevention" is to highlight the issue of child injuries and compare the results of two types of primary schools - urban and rural. This area is often underestimated, although it concerns a substantial part of our population. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses on prevention and its distribution, and the epidemiology of injuries and first aid, which plays a very important role. The empirical part consists of quantitative research based on a questionnaire survey, which focused on pupils at 9 th classes (which means children at the age of 14 and 15). It describes also the methodology of the research and its organization. Based on the information gathered in this section. The results are compiled, evaluated and recorded in tables and graphs with the follow up discussion. Key words: prevention, child injuries, head injury, musculoskeletal injury, first ai
