Jiří Trunda ABSTRACT: This thesis deals with the awareness of school principals and their representatives about management and leadership of quality management - ISO 9001. It finds out whether the school management thinks that ISO 9001 would help them in the management and leadership of their school and also if it would help them gain clients - pupils, in negotiation with the management and social partners, in raising funds - mainly in additional activities. This thesis expresses the opinions of school principals or their representatives from different high schools about management quality - ISO 9001 and the possibility of introducing this norm in their schools.
