This Bachelor thesis deals with the civil right movement of African-Americans in United States in 1950s and 60s. It was a period when the movement gained mass form. A key event was the arrest of Rosa Parks for violating of segregation law. A Montgomery bus boycott was the first mass action of that Movement, which was succesfully completed. They achieved desegregation in public transportation. The protest actions and demonstrations then ran across the United States. The leading figure of the Movement was Martin Luther King.
