The thesis is devided into two main parts. The general part of the thesis deals with the theoretical knowledge to the diagnosis in terms of anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics, as well as providing information about the shoulder examination. The thesis deals with the etiology, classification and therapy of the desease. Special section describes a detailed case report of a patient with a diagnosis of frozen shoulder syndrome. This section has been prepared on the basis of the work with the pacient during the special practise in the Centrum léčby pohybového aparátu in the period 21.1. -20. 2. 2013.
