Egyptian Revolution of the 21.century and for a long time Awaited Fall of Authoritarian Regime of Hosni Mubarak

The subject of the bachelor thesis is the Egyptian revolution from the beginning of the year 2011. The main goal is to find out the key consequences having led to the outbreak. At the end, the sequence of events during the revolution and the country's development since President Hosni Mubarak's resignation will be shortly described. That will be followed by a brief summary of presidential and parliamentary elections. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first one summarizes the economic and political aspects until the end of the 1990s, as well as discusses the topic of extremism and state repression. The second part focuses on the 21st century and it also briefly examines the state economics. The political situation will be enriched by the establishment of new political entities. All will lead to the question of human rights, to the revolution and to the time of Egypt in transition.
