Specifics of speech therapy on children with cochlear implants

Bachelors work: "Specifics of speech therapy for children with a cochlear implant" engages in the issue of children's hearing impairment and in its possible compensation with cochlear implant. It sets an objective of bringing basic information regarding the cochlear implantation issue and the consequent speech therapy, it presents basic methods and principles of work with children, supported by practical exercises. First part of the work consisting of mainly theoretical information summarizes findings regarding hearing impairment, cochlear implant, the pre-implantation period and the whole rehabilitation process after the implantation, including the consequent speech therapy.
