Attitudes of Slovaks towards Hungarian minority

This paper deals with the attitudes of Slovak majority against the Hungarian minority living in Slovakia, and the extent to which these attitudes are changing under the influence of the generation gap. In the theoretical part of the work is firstly defined meaning, origin and function of key concepts. The theoretical part as well summarizes the passage dedicated to the research methodology of attitudes. The main objective of the empirical probe, focusing purely on the citizens of Slovak nationality, is to determine what approach is taken by the respondents against the Hungarian minority. The results of the investigation confirm the significant impact of generational assumptions, especially in matters of historical context.
