PhDr. Naděžda Pelcová, CSc. ABSTRACT: This bachelor's thesis is focused on ideas of upbringing and toleration in John Locke's and John Amos Comenius writings. The aim of the thesis is to present main thoughts of both authors using the analysis of origin sources. The thesis tries to present John Locke's and John Amos Comenius opinions within the broad historical context which indicates their basic concentration and influential historical background.
