Cross-border cooperation between Germany and Czech Republic on the example of Upper Palatinate and Pilsen

This bachelor thesis deals with emergence, meaning and development cross-border cooperation between Germany and Czech Republic. The first part of the thesis deals with the general, historical and political contexts of these two countries. The creation of euroregions and EU funds are described. Furthemore, the thesis directs on cooperation in the regions of Upper Palatinate and Pilsen. The last part explains the Tandem coordination centers, their projects and programs. Another important part is a program of support for proffesional practices and is specifically explained. The program is analyzed using questionnaires
