Technologies of fourth industrial revolution in transformers design and production

In response to the current customer demand customization trend, businesses are trying to tailor their processes to the growing variability that results from this trend. This paper explores the Industry 4.0 principles to achieve these goals. In the first part of the thesis, the basic principles of Industry 4.0 are described on the basis of the study of literature and the possibilities that these principles bring to process control and management. There is also a description of the issue of process and enterprise transformation based on Industry 4.0 principles, based on studies made by consulting companies. At the beginning of the application part of the thesis is analyzed the level of digitization of the enterprise, which intend to transform according to Industry 4.0 gardually. Also a list of proposals to increase the level of digitization in different area sis provided. Subsequently, the application part analyzes the process of setting up the workplaces of the business, which is the process most affected by the growth of variability. Based on the analysis of the process and the study of the available technical solutions, process modifications in the sense of Industry 4.0 were proposed, which could led to increase its quality, shorten the duration and thereby save the company's financial savings through the digitization of the process
