3D scanner is a device capable of creating a model using analysis, most commonly from image data. 3D scanners could be divided into two major groups, contact and noncontact scanners. Aim of this study is to interpret problematics of 3D scanning with structured light. Specifically usage of Gray code patterns. There is step by step evaluation of individual hardware and software obstacles and possible errors, from calibration to final point cloud.
