This thesis concerns about woods and their basic development. Then there is an explanation of the a concept of USES, including a basic description and development. Then there is definition of STG and the STG code. The thesis includes the development of woods, which are appropriate for planting in Czech republic ,based on their demands on altitude and habitats. The thesis also includes a list of woods, which are appropriate for cultivation in areas with polluted air and a list of woods, which are appropriate for planting in alley in the specific altitude. The thesis also includes basic procedure of planting and cultivation of these woods. Anothert hing, which is included in thesis,is the continuity of USES on the land adjustment itself. Last part of the thesis concerns about problematics of selected protected areas in relationto the woods
