Consideration to problems of public space archeology on example of Republic Square in Prague

This consideration engages in public space archaeology in medieval and post-medieval towns. On the basis of existing discoveries from archaeological excavations in towns of Central Europe including Czech Republic, comprise a specific sphere of archaeology of roads, streets and squares. Second part of this diploma work analyzes results of an archaeological excavation in northeast part of Republic square in Prague (2004-2006). These results were not publicized till today and represent a very important asset to this discussion
