Communist Party of Czechoslovakia during the First Republic: Party Bolshevization and its Position towards the Czechoslovak Republic

Diploma thesis "Communist Party of Czechoslovakia during the First Republic: Party Bolshevization and its Position towards the Czechoslovak Republic" deals with events and processes inside Communist party of Czechoslovakia in the twenties of the 20th century, while it is mainly focused on bolshevizing pressures, which causes long series of related crises in CPC. To describe these problems, study using method of intrinsic case study. Text starts with definition of bolshevization itself, while there is attempt to unify several approaches to bolshevization. Author tries to use wide range of literature, from Communist historiography to later and foreign sources, while both are heavily combined. The text is arranged in chronological order and tries to describe bolshevization steps from several angles. The main focus is especially put on situation and processes inside party, but study does not ignore an important external factor, the interventions of Communist international to party development. In total, the thesis illustrating and describing transformation of party organizational structure and changes in program basis during twenties and early thirties and puts them in context to overall party relationship with Czechoslovak state
