History and present of Cistercian monasteries libraries in Bohemia

Diploma thesis discusses the history of the library of the Cistercian order in Bohemia since the founding of the first monastery in 1143 through the Hussite wars, the Thirty Years War, the dissolution of monasteries during the reign of Joseph II. to the present. Most attention is given to the monasteries, which remained preserved for our generation. The final part of the diploma thesis deals with libraries in Vyšší Brod, Zlatá Koruna and Osek from the perspective of the reader. Attention is paid mainly funds, services and accessibility
