This work deals with circumstances of accepting the demission of non-communist ministers in February 1948. The main role in February 1948 played Edvard Beneš and this work tries to discover, what were the main reasons for accepting the demission by the second czechoslovakian president Edvard Beneš. This decision, accepting the demission, led to the communist hegemony. This work maps the period 1938-1948 when the Benešs'attitude to the Soviet Union was formed and the time of February when the demission was accepted
