Česká stráž Journal (1890-1901) and its most Influential Editors

The object of this work is to analyse Česká stráž journal at the end of 19th century (1890-1901). The main stress is put on the period, when the editorial staff consisted of an editorial trio (Cyril Horáček, Václav Choc and Eduard Koerner), who were trying to create a new political party. At that time the editors had made contacts with the political and cultural elites such as Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, Josef Svatopluk Machar etc. The editorial group of Česká stráž journal belonged to a radical movement of Czech lands. However, the editors split up at the dawn of the 20th century and each of them entered a different political party
