Hořice: Public life in town 1860-1868

The work examines the public life in the town Hořice during years 1860 to 1868. The main purpose of this bachelor work is presentation of the activity of local authority and reactions of people on public events which were happened in the Austrian Empire during 1860 to 1868. The main events were the restoration constitutional life in the Austrian Empire, the Austro- Prussian War, the Austro-Hungarian Compromise of 1867, the foundation stone of the National Theatre in Prague and meetings of the people.
