ASSESSMENT OF PHOTOVOLTAIC POTENTIAL OF ROOFS IN PRAGUE AREA

Assessment of photovoltaic potential of roofs in Prague area Abstract The main aim of thesis is creation of algorithm for determination photovoltaic potential roofs of buildings using the basic tools of ArcGIS software for the knowledge a digital surface model and vector layer of built-up area. Possible electrical power and return of investment is also calculated for better assess of the suitability location. The sequence is inserted for easily using into ModelBuilder tools. The functionality of the model is verified by applications in Prague 8, Karlín and it is visualized in several maps.
