Children and youth crime

This bachelor's work is about problems of children's and teenager's criminality including the introduction of proposals to improve the current situation. The interest and recency of this topic was my motivation for this choice. There are basic conceptions in the introduction part for better understanding of all this work. After that the attention is paid to the factors which have an influence on the children's and teenager's criminality. The chapter about punishment follows. This chapter describes the particular types of provisions which are the legal effect (sanctions) for the offence of a person younger than 18 years old. The aim of prevention is reducing of degree and relevance of criminality. The following part of this work describes this aim. Then the situation in the Czech Republic including the analysis of children's and teenager's criminality development during last ten years is described. The citizens' opinions and experince related to the criminality of this age group are stated in the last part in the form of questionnaire survey
