Relationship between Polish Government-in-exile and British War Cabinet in early years of the Second World War

This thesis analyzes the development of the Polish government in exile, its activities and its relations with Great Britain since the outbreak of the Second World War to the death of General Sikorski's fourth July 1943. It is chronologically divided into chapters that are logically divided according to the circumstances that influenced the Polish Government (place of residence, new allies, etc.). By studying of literature and sources the author came to the appreciation of the work as not very successful. Internal divisions of Poles slowly weakened them and death of General Sikorski, the Prime Minister even accelerated their decline. The intensity of the relationship with Great Britain gradually declined, until after the Soviet Union went into the war on the Western allies side and the death of General Sikorski moved the intensity to a minimum. Work is the first Czech look at the issue of the British-Polish relations during the Second World War. Keywords polish government-in-exile, World War II, british war cabin
