The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe user's viewpoint on library activites in social media. It summarizes definition, history and characteristic of social networking sites and describes some of them (Facebook, Foursquare, Twitter, YouTube). In next part it deals with chosen information sources about libraries in social media. It also describes social media activites of the Research Library in Hradec Králové. The practical part describes results from the implemented questionnaire survey in this library and itd results
