The use of physiotherapeutical methods and procedures in paraplegic patients. Verticalisation and gait

This bachelor thesis focuses on the usage of physiotherapeutical methods and procedures in the therapy of patients with paraplegia. In the theoretical part I described shortly the anatomy and the etiology, consequences and clinical picture of the spinal cord injury. I also described the examination procedures and most of all complications that can most often occur after the spinal cord injury. The practical part is aimed at the possibilities of complex physiotherapy in the therapy of patients with spinal injury. Therewith the accent is set on the possibilities of verticalisation and gait in paraplegic patients. I'm detailing not just the verticalisation and gait possibilities, but also all sorts of instruments and gadgets that make this part of physiotherapy easier for patients. In this thesis there is short casuistry of patient with traumatic spine and spinal cord injury on the level of Th10 and Th11
