It is very serious progressive-neurodegenerative disorder mainly manifested by memory loss, cognitive dysfunction and personality changes. This thesis provides topical summary of the most important aspects of treatment of Alzheimer's disease. There are introduced basic characteristics of Alzheimer's disease, its possible causes and brief summary of currently used and new considered therapeutic approaches
