Lectures of information literacy in education of history at Dvořákovo gymnázium in Kralupy nad Vltavou

This thesis deals with a concept of information literacy lectures applied to the project-based teaching of history at Dvořákovo gymnázium in Kralupy nad Vltavou. In this thesis are presented and further developed the information literacy requirements for high school students, specified in the "Educational program framework for High schools" (27). These requirements are further developed, based on the information literacy standards published in the USA and the UK. On this basis is formulated a concept of information literacy teaching instructions. This concept results in the formulation of information literacy lessons curriculum and their implementation in the history lessons through project-based teaching method. The whole concept was tested in practice. However, in this thesis is also mentioned the possibility of teaching information literacy in a way of a separate workshop, connected with other school subjects. This method seems to be more suitable, because it allows the inclusion of a wider range of subjects into the workshop's curriculum
