Multilateralism in the European Neighbourhood Policy

This paper focuses on the existence of multilateral relations among European Union and its Eastern neighbors. The purpose of this paper is to study whether and to what extent multilateral relations have existed with Eastern states since the introduction of European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP). Paper deals as well with the progress of these relations emphasizing mainly the evolution after the release of Eastern Partnership. An in-depth examination of different aspects of the above mentioned relations confirms the paper's assumption that the multilateral type of relations have existed since the startup of ENP and that they were deepened by Eastern Partnership. The final part of the paper is devoted to the assessment of multilateral dimension of Eastern part of the European neighbourhood, its interpretation enriched by current debates
