Use of mask in the Jacques Lecoq method

The theme of my thesis is the use of mask in the Jacques Lecoq method. The first part focuses on general principles of Lecoq's method, it's structure and content. The second part deals with the method in the context of 20th century French theatre. This part also concerns with some important connections regarding J. Lecoq's proffesional expierences with French theatre and his own work. In the last part, the attention is paid to a detailed study of particular types of masks which are used in the method. Finally, as a description of the way of work with these masks follows with a special focus on their meaning in actors' training
