The estate of Luboš Fišer

This thesis presents the estate of the composer Luboš Fišer (1935-99). The catalogue of a significant part of his estate, and a detailed list of compositions based thereon, form the core of the thesis. The preceding accompanying text formulates and reflects on various problems connected with the processing of the estate and the related factual account. Apart from the general description of the fund it brings up a range of new issues, namely the issues of notation from external manifestations and textual problems to the notation analysis; it also deals with contemporary reception and with the transformations of the tonal material. Thus, it critically examines various aspects of Fišer's works for concert hall, laying aside the question of style which has already been answered
