Poetics of the art nouveau prose

The topic of the diploma thesis is the poetics of the Art Nouveau prose. The first part is a theoretical one containing a general account of Art Nouveau as an artistic style: characteristic Art Nouveau features and motives are described here. Based on this description, a theoretical specification of the characteristics of the literary Art Nouveau is presented. The analytical part focuses on the analysis of a particular Art Nouveau prose and describes its poetics. It treats the following areas: motivational, thematic, stylistic and syntactic.
