The submitted work is concerned with a possible relationship between artistic talent and psychological abnormalities. Apart from bipolar disorder by artistically gifted individuals, I am examining schizotypy, from which predominantly sub-scale Unusual Experiences significantly correlates with artistic creativity in the foreign researches. Besides, in the theoretical part, I am also involved with the researches of creativity and psychotic disorders heredity and studies exploring biographic data of famous artists from the psychological point of view.
