Drugs in Chemical Education

Title: Drugs in Secondary education Author: Zuzana Friedelová Department: Department of Teaching and Didactics of Chemistry Supervisor: doc. RNDr. Helena Klímová, CSc. The thesis is focused on drugs in secondary education. The first part of the thesis contains an academic text about drugs, which is designed for secondary school teachers. The second part consists of worksheets which serve as a support material for an excursion to the Pharmaceutical Museum in Kuks. The worksheets were realised in two forms which differ in the number of questions and graphic design. The last part is aimed at laboratory work which may be beneficial when teaching the topic of drugs. The results of the laboratory work were checked in the laboratory of the Department of Teaching and Didactics of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague, with each experiment being photographically documented
